Vanessa Hatfield – Director of Federal Operations
Ms. Hatfield joined Waséyabek Federal Services (WFS) in 2020 and possesses nearly 30 years of experience in business administration, project management, sales, contract management, and professional recruiting. In her role as Director of Federal Operations, Ms. Hatfield plans and directs operations and coordinates efforts of the Shared Services Team in support of their federal work. She is responsible for implementing effective operating procedures across Waséyabek’s federal companies and defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization. She develops and executes new growth directives, and liaise with departmental heads to develop strategic, operational, and financial plans, ensuring company-wide operational compliance.
Ms. Hatfield holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. She also has more than 17 years of professional experience in the federal contracting industry, successfully supporting multi-million-dollar government contracts from capture through transition and the period of performance.
As the Director of Federal Operations, Ms. Hatfield is focused on developing protocols, processes, recruiting, and training talent and doing whatever she can to ensure that employees of Waséyabek’s federal companies meet and exceed the performance expectations of our clients in the federal contracting space.
